Wavenet International Pvt Ltd. won three awards – two silver awards for its Compose solution and 1390 Home Based Care platform (HBCS) solution, and a bronze award for ahasa (an innovative Kubernetes-based platform). The 2022 National Best Quality ICT Awards (NBQSA) was held on 21st January 2022 at the BMICH in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
NBQSA Awards recognises outstanding achievements of companies committed to elevating the ICT sector. Wavenet’s Compose solution is an intelligent AI-driven tool that powers faster, smarter and scalable APIs and uses advanced business logic and low-code, no-code capability to help companies individually scale containerised microservices and deliver smart omnichannel services to customers.
The second silver bagged at the event, was for Wavenet’s Home-Based Care Solution (HBCS) which is a web-based workflow management platform designed to capture and monitor data of a-symptomatic Covid19 positive patients. The integrated system implemented in Sri Lanka connects the entire healthcare ecosystem allowing medics, call centre agents, doctors, and patients to access the system by calling a 24-hour hotline provided by Dialog Axiata. From a national healthcare strategy perspective, comprehensive, real-time data capturing, reporting and dashboard features delivered by the system assists in critical and quality decision making in relation to managing a pandemic.
Wavenet won a bronze award for the ahasa solution which is a K8 IDE in the Cloud that allows platform users to aggregate containerised apps and deploy end-to-end solutions using Kubernetes technology. ahasa solves critical DevOps challenges such as reducing extensive design-to-deployment lead time, reduction in IT infrastructure costs and investments related to deployment, and other resource cost cutbacks such as extensive training and development expenses.
